Hi to all,
Just a reminder that there is a special Carnival Report on Cosmos FM 96.5 on Friday 19th Feb with recordings of those that took part in the St George and the Dragon Carnival Entry. as well as The Metaxata and Lixouri Carnivals
Any phone calls from those who took part would be welcome between 2.30 and 3pm. The phone number will be given out on the air.
For those who miss the broadcast there will be a link available so that you can download the recordings later.
Well done to all who created and took part in the Carnival, it was a very good effort all round.

The regular supporters have started to send in their prize confirmations and we shall shortly be selling raffle tickets.
Raffle Tickets are EURO 1 each.
This email is to invite everybody to help with the event and PRIZES ugently needed.
Stall Holders please let me know if you want to reserve a table at the event (Cost is Euro 5 for the stall and all other donations accepted)
Donations of bric a brac etc for sale. We are running out of stock!
You can drop off donations at the Makis Pool Bar Makris Yialos on Friday evenings and on Sundays.

28 March the KATS are having a bazaar in Skala and KIDS will be joining them there.

Salsa
is one of the fastest growing trends across the world today.
Salsa is fun,

I run regular Salsa lessons
every Monday and Friday night
at Lucky Strike, in Kaligata.
Monday nights is for beginners, people new to salsa.
Friday nights is for those who have had at least 10 lessons. Both nights start at 8pm.

TOUR 5
This is a unique and memorable tour, a chance to see the green rugged mountainous side of Kefalonia that few get to experience! The day starts with you being picked up at your door by 4WD, and driven up the mountainside through off road tracks, approximately 1 hour. The trekking is easy to medium and is approximately 30 minutes. You can walk to the peak of Mount Ainos which stands at 1,640 metres high, where There are plenty of opportunities to take some stunning photos throughout this tour.
You will then be driven through more of the mountainside, to spots where the wild horses are known to gather and graze.
There will then be an opportunity to either go for a refreshing swim in a nearby beach, or be taken to the Robola wine region and to taste world famous local wines. You can then relax and be driven back to your accommodation, having experienced the real Kefalonia!
Caving – All equipment and techniques follow the regulations and standards of the World Conderation of Climbing
You will be picked up at the centre of the town closest to your accomodation, either Argostoli or Sami, and then taken to the village of Poulata, located approximately 10 minutes drive from Sami. You will be driven right up to the start of the 2 caves, and here the caving will begin! You can choose to either go down the 30 metre cave, Saint Theodoroi, where the colour of the water is more striking than Melissani, deep blue cool clear waters.
Or if you are feeling more adventurous, the 50 meter cave of aggalaki. Down the bottom of aggalaki cave, the guides also take down a small wooden boat, and will take you on a small tour on the boat, as well as through a 100m tunnel to view a second small lake located in this cave.
After the tours around the caves, the guides will help you with the ascend, and at the top you will be provided with some refreshments and a chance to sit down and take in the surrounding scenary, and discuss your adventures.
You will then be driven back to the location you were picked up from.
